Introduction to Medicare on Monday at 9:30 a.m. is designed to help anyone enrolling into Medicare for the first time better understand their available options. Topics covered will be the basic parts of Medicare (A, B, C, and D), how they work, how to enroll, the additional insurance options available, and the drug coverage requirement. Optometrist Larry Woods will conduct free vision screenings including glaucoma, visual acuity and macular degeneration on Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m. Call 346-1401 for an appointment.
Blood pressure screening will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. Registered nurses will conduct checks and provide the latest information on control. Cost is $1 and reservations are not required.
Chair massage consists of massage to relax the muscles of the upper body, the neck, shoulders, arms and hands. Offered by the Stress Relief Team on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to noon, cost is $12 and appointments are required by calling 346-1401.
Wondering if grandma's teapot is treasure or trash? Bring in up to four items for antique identification and evaluation by Greg Kurtzweil of Kurtzweil's Antiques on Friday at 9 a.m. Cost is $2.
Video sports aren't just for the younger generation. Wii bowling offers fitness and fun for all ages, with a full range of motion and low impact exercise. If you can swing your arm, you can Wii bowl. No partner or bowling ball needed. Join us Friday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
