Welcome to the Portage County Smart Energy Team Web Page! This page will be kept up-to-date with information and documents to the Smart Energy Team's work. The Smart Energy Team is continuing to work on implementing Phase I - Facilities Strategic Energy Management Plan to increase energy education, conservation, and efficiency in buildings and operations. The Team is also working to secure funding and implementing projects that will take advantage of Focus on Energy incentives to reduce County energy consumption.

Phase II - Transportation
The Portage County Smart Energy Team has been busy completing a draft of the Phase II - Transportation Strategic Energy Management Plan. The draft is available for viewing below. Comments can be given to the provided contact. A final draft of Phase II is expected to be up for approval by County Board in March, 2012.
