Welcome to the Portage County Smart Energy Team Web Page! This page will be kept up-to-date with information and documents to the Smart Energy Team's work. The Smart Energy Team is continuing to work on implementing Phase I - Facilities Strategic Energy Management Plan to increase energy education, conservation, and efficiency in buildings and operations. The Team is also working to secure funding and implementing projects that will take advantage of Focus on Energy incentives to reduce County energy consumption.

Phase II - Transportation
The Portage County Smart Energy Team has completed Phase II – Transportation Fuels of the Strategic Energy Management Plan. The plan is available for viewing below. Comments or questions can be given to the provided contact. Phase II was approved by the County Board in March, 2012.
