The Groundwater Reference and Publications Guide, compiled by the Public Involvement & Education Subcommittee of the PCGCAC, lists over 200 groundwater-related publications.  The materials range from easy reading basic groundwater pamphlets to in-depth scientific articles.  Some materials are specific to Portage County, others are general in scope.  This guide is available to view in the following formats:

Also available is a short list of Selected/Recommended Publications and Web Sites from the Groundwater Reference and Publications Guide.

Organizations and agencies print a variety of publications to help explain groundwater issues and concerns.  The publications are available either free, for a small fee, or as reference only.  Many of the references and publications may be acquired from the issuing agency, or:

	Golden Sands Resource Conservation & Development Area
	Central Wisconsin Groundwater Center

In addition, publications may be viewed in a reference binder at Portage County Library branches in Stevens Point, Almond, Plover, and Rosholt, as well as at the agencies listed above.
