Services and Functions
The Information Technology Department is committed to provide and support information technology in an effective, accurate, and timely manner that meets the needs of Portage County Departments; enabling them to better serve customers, both internal and external. County facilities are connected by a local and wide area network consisting of fiber optics, switches, AS400's, Windows 2003 servers and hundreds of PC's running in a Windows 2000/XP environment.
