About the Area
DuBay Park, located 13 miles northwest of Stevens Point, Wisconsin is just one of 24 areas managed by the Portage County Parks Department. This 51 acre park is bordered on the east by the 600 acre Lake DuBay which provides easy access for fishermen, boaters, water skiers, and swimmers. There's a large picnic area, picnic lodge, boat ramp, trailer dump station, playground equipment, swimming beach, baseball field and two shower buildings.
Take County HH west out of Stevens Point, 5 miles out of Stevens Point,
turn right on County Hwy E, drive 7 miles. You will come to DuBay County
Park which is on both sides of the road.
The 31 site campground is open May 1 – October 31. All sites are provided with electrical hookups. Approximately half the sites can be reserved. Reservations are made at the Portage County Parks office, either in person, through the mail or at the internet address www.co.portage.wi.us with Master Card or VISA and must be made at least 7 days in advance of when a site is to be occupied. The campground also has two handicapped sites that can be reserved. A seasonal park manager lives in the park.

No camping party or camping unit shall occupy any campground more than 14 consecutive days. Exceptions may be authorized by the park manager.
Once the campsite is set up, registered and paid for, it does not need to be occupied for the first 48 hours. After that, the campsite must be occupied every 24 hours.
Camping permits expire at 3:00 P.M. Extensions must be made prior to 10:00 A.M. Violation of any state law or any rules of the Portage County Park Commission by a member of a camping party is cause for revocation of the camping permit.
Juveniles (under 18 years) cannot register for a campsite and must have adult supervision at the campsite.
