Departmental Business Information

The Portage County Solid Waste Department's Public Records Policy states that the department will respond to public records requests within 72 hours, unless there is good cause for a delay. The department may require pre-payment of costs. To make a request or for more information, call 345-5969.

Records available upon request include committee meeting minutes, certain departmental files, correspondence and financial records. Many records will not be available. For example, records like customer lists and competitive pricing structures are confidential and will not be released.
