Portage County Special Event Recycling Bin Loan Program

            Are you are planning a reunion, fair, picnic, festival, sporting or any other type of event?  

Our bin loan program provides bins that are highly visible - and easy to use, set up and transport!
There is no fee to use the bins if the recyclables are brought to the Portage County Material Recovery Facility; all you pay for are the specially-sized clear bags.

Reduce trash while potentially saving on garbage costs!  Make your event cleaner! 
Show consideration for the community and set a good example for children.
Help your event participants remember that Wisconsin law requires everyone to recycle,
whether at home, at work or at special events!
