| Description of Duties: | The Certified Nursing Assistant under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse performs direct resident care, including the provision of personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and the documentation and the reporting of those activities. The CNA upholds the philosophy of Portage County Health Care Center to provide rehabilitative service necessary for each resident to achieve a maximum level of functioning, the preservation of self worth and dignity. |
| Minimum Qualifications: | Certification as a Nurse’s Aide
Ability to meet required state criminal background check.
Ability to maintain composure and cope with stress and frustration, appreciate the dignity of each resident, and keep the confidence cultural, social, and medical conditions.
Current experience as a Nurse’s Aide
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to work with elderly residents
Ability to speak, read and write the English language |
