Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants, under the direction of the resident's Physician provide twenty-four hour nursing service. Care plans are developed with the resident to meet the specific individual's needs and are designed to keep the resident functioning at his/her highest level, maximizing strengths and abilities and promoting the optimum level of wellness. Nursing is involved in the coordination of the services of the total health care team including the resident and his/her family in the planning and implementing of the nursing care program.

Staff is provided with ongoing education and training to meet the special needs of each resident. This is accomplished through in-service training programs, developing employee skills and monthly meetings.

Each resident may be seen by their Physician of choice. If the Physician of choice does not make on-site visits, the resident can choose off-site visits. The resident can also be seen by the Attending Physician and/or Nurse Practitioner. The Attending Physician and Nurse Practitioner make regular visits and are available to meet with residents and families upon request by appointment in addition to routine scheduled visits.
