Portage County Business Park

The Portage County Business Park was developed by the Portage County Planning and Zoning Department through funding and approvals granted by the Portage County Board of Supervisors. The Park provides a 420 acre quality building environment for industrial, interchange commercial, and professional office development. The quality of the development environment is enhanced by Deed Restrictions and Protective Covenants (click for link) enforced by the County and attractive County owned and maintained landscape and waterscape features strategically located within the Park and at Park entrances. The Park is served with sanitary sewer, water, curb, gutter, natural gas, and fiber optic communications.

The first sale of the land was made in 1997 before the Park construction was completed, and a total of 289 acres of land have been sold to-date, with approximately 24.5 acres of development acreage remaining to be sold, consisting of the following:

Small Office Complex 7.5 acres
Business/Professional Office 7.5 acres
Medium/Large Scale Industrial 9.5 acres

The Business Park land is currently priced in link below.

Establishing your company in the park is made easy by a streamlined process that consists of the Portage County Planning and Zoning Department Director (Jeff Schuler) as the primary sources for all approvals, and Economic Development Committee with authority to act rapidly if needed and a strong relationship with the City of Stevens Point Community Development and Engineering Departments to get your project approved and permitted. The Portage County Business Park Broker, responsible for all initial contact and offers for purchase is Bill Scholfield of the Scholfied Group, llc. (715)574-7007
